This Seat Concepts Foam & Cover Kit for the Yamaha MT-09 2018 is designed to improve the comfort level of your motorcycle seat while providing additional tactile performance through higher density foam, custom contours and upgraded seat cover materials. If you're putting in a lot of seat time, an aftermarket motorcycle seat from Seat Concepts will improve your overall riding experience. This is a foam & cover kit and doesn't include a seat pan. The foam & cover will need to be installed onto your stock seat pan - modification will be required. If you're not keen on modding your seat, checkout the complete seat kits.
For the main rider's area we built up the front of the seat to address the 'slope into the tank'. For the passenger area, we added 1 inch of foam in height and widened the seating area for comfort. No, this will not make it a touring bike but will make a way more comfortable ride without having a saddle strapped to the rear of your sport bike. With this change and an improved foam density will help keep the seat from being an item to stop you from going on that ride or enjoying the bike.

Carbon Fiber/Gripper is the most popular option for general dual-sport and off-road usage. The carbon fiber material is very durable and the asphalt gripper material helps with traction.
All Carbon Fiber offers a beautiful black vinyl created carbin fiber pattern. It has a slightly slicker surface compared to gripper options but is a good choice for the street as well as light off-road usage. If you ride in jeans, this is your cover type.
