This Driven Racing 525 Rear motorcycle sprocket works as a bolt-on replacement for your stock sprocket. It is designed to fit the Yamaha YZF-R1M years 2015 to 2018. We recommend also replacing the drive chain when changing sprockets on your bike - remember to match up the front and rear sprockets and chain (520 with 520, 530 with 530, etc).

Product Details:
Driven Racing rear sprockets are precision CNC machined from lightweight aluminum and, when compared to a steel sprocket, will save considerable weight and lower the rotating mass on your drive train. This will allow more power to reach the rear wheel - which is a good thing! Aluminum sprockets do have a shorter service life as compared to steel sprockets but they are geared towards the rider with performance and customization in mind. Driven aluminum rear sprockets are hard anodized for strength and come in a variety of colors including red, gold, blue and black.
Driven has designed these rear sprockets with drilled holes to reduce overall weight and mass even further. Every sprocket is checked and tested to make sure they're of the highest quality and meet the requirements of a high performance, high quality product.
Installation Notes:
Please make sure to match the pitch of your front and rear sprockets and chain. For instance, a 520 chain will need 520 front and rear sprockets and 525 chain will need 525 sprockets. If you're going to do a 520 conversion (using 520 sprockets and chain when your stock setup isn't 520), make sure all items (front sprocket, rear sproket, chain) match. It's best to purchase a chain and sprockets together at the same time. DO NOT attempt to install a mis-matching chain and sprockets setup.
