Chain tools are primarily used during chain installation and removal for those that want to perform an installation themselves. Some tools will only rivet or press while some will only break chains and some, like the higher priced RK or Motion Pro, will break, rivet, press and do pretty much anything you'll need during chain installation or removal. The all-in-one tools are generally the best sellers.
